About LACEM 2027

Fortaleza, Brazil, and the Federal University of Ceará (Universidade Federal do Ceará — UFC) have been selected to host the Second Latin American Conference on Eye Movements.

The LACEM initiative

LACEM was conceived as a Latin American extension of the European Conference on Eye Movements (ECEM), creating a high-level scientific forum in Latin America dedicated to eye-movement research across psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, vision science and related fields.

Fortaleza 2027

The 2027 edition aims to strengthen Latin American participation in the global eye-movement research community, foster new international collaborations and reinforce scientific dialogue between LACEM and ECEM.
